Josie's Eyeliner Brush Guide
So, I've decided to create an eyeliner brush guide for everyone because I believe it's super important to know what kind of brush will allow you what kind of looks. Also I extremely LOVE cream liner, thus knowing the important of the liner brush functions are a basic one must MASTER!
Anyways, here we go!
1.Tight liner//Flat Liner Brush:
A flat liner brush will allow smooth and even distribution of the cream liner or gel liner. The tight lining look allows more definition to your eyes without making an obvious drawn on line! Although I would recommend to check the firmness of the brush before using because if the brush is not firm it will not make a smooth and even line.
++TIP++ do not use liquid or wet liners because tight lining will allow some of the liquid get into your eye and it may irritate it!
My favourite flat liner brush: Laura Mericer Flat Eye Liner Brush
2.Fine Flick of an Eye//Angled Brush
Okay, many people get the angled brush missed up with the ANGLE brush, so to clear things up the angled brush is ANGLED at about an 45 degree bent at the metal part as shown in the picture above. I would say this is my most frequent used brush because it allows one to create super thins lines that could be built up upon as well it enables the user to draw a cute little flick at the end of the eye. It is super easy to use, and I honestly think this is a great brush to start out with because it puts YOU in CONTROL of the fluidity AND movement! Due to the thin brush size it could be used with cream, gel or even liquid formulas.
My favourite bent angled brush: Sephora Pro Angled Eye Liner Brush #23
3.Statement Cat Eye// Angle Brush:
Whats a better way to make a make up statement than the famous CAT EYE look? The Angle brush is the official brush for that look. The cat eye is dramatic yet classy, and not to mention super easy to draw in with the angle brush. The sharp angle on the brush creates a sharp and clean line that is perfect for look.
I use all sorts of angle brushes from the Sephora collection to Eco tools and I even tried Kirland. I find them fairly equal and provides nice cat eye looks. Although some of my friends say that the Mac 263 small angle brush works miracles. I have yet to try it out.

~~~SALES TIME! ~~~
Okay side note: Haha this is not really a sale BUT today I saw this totally cute and fabulous white leather jacket at Sirens with hood and everything for only $29.00. It has a tomboy yet girly look to it. I think it looks fantastic (: Sadly I personally didn't buy it because i already have a white leather jacket.
Anyways, off to my favourite store:
I just went today to Sephora to pick up a cute make up bag or something and to my surprised THEY HAVE A SALE ON TOKIDOKI makeup bags. They are super cute, if you haven't seen them. AND you could get three of them for only $25 dollars. I personally only bought one for $17.
Well... I am going to leave it at that today. I haven't seen huge sales much lately because of school I'll hope to update more sales next post! And perhaps talk a little about Vitamins as well.
Until next time!
